Our active project right now: a focused holiday fundraiser to provide food and small gifts to children and families in need in Medellín, Colombia.
If we raise more than our goal, we’ll be able to support more children and families.
A Michigan 501(c)(3) born from a grandmother’s example of everyday generosity. EIN 99-3010688 • [email protected]
My name is Charlie Naebeck. Shirley’s Fund Company began with my grandmother—the kind of person who was always good to others.
She looked after people and helped them on their path in life. She taught me photography, which sent me on a journey around the world,
and she taught me business sense—the practical wisdom that became the playbook for my life.
I created this nonprofit foundation in her name to give back and to help others who feel the same call to care. I asked my friends and family
to join me, and they did. Together, we built Shirley’s Fund to be warm, practical, and people-first—just like her.
Today, we host art therapy workshops, care for a living nature conservatory through native plantings and dedications,
and run a Holiday Food & Toy Drive to support families in Colombia. We’re seeking land partners in Southeast Michigan to create
a serene, permanent space where our community can gather, heal, and grow.
If you believe—like my grandmother did—that small acts of care can change a day, a season, even a life, then you’re one of us.
Thank you for being here.
We believe healing grows where creativity and nature meet. Our work focuses on three pillars: art therapy workshops for mental health, a living nature conservatory, and targeted relief for families in need.
